The Penable Award (3 and 4)
This is a delayed post but, I am super excited and amazed to accept my 2 Penable awards from none other than the most talented, smart, inspiring and kind writer, HR Phoenix of Penable. She also co-owns Roaring Flames Writing Club with Rishika Jain, a shockingly young yet talented and sweet writer of The Ethereal Unicorn.
I got the first Penable award for my poem, A Night Owl, which was a second runner up in “an animal you think is beautiful or strange” Thursday Poetry Competition theme.
Then I got a second award for my poem, Mother’s Love, which won in the “something that makes you smile” theme.

My Writing Talent
I am not a writer, I guess sometimes I choose attractive or relevant words to express my emotions.
- What motivates you?
God, the future and the well being of my family.
- Would you do a truth or a dare? Why?
(Laughs) this is such an amazing and funny question. Definately a truth! because as much as I love a challenge, I hate being cornered and the unknown is not only scary but, it can be harmful to the others as well.
- Tell us a hilarious from your life.
When we were young, we used to leave early on Sunday mornings to attend Sunday school before the actual service. So, one of the good Sundays we climbed on a tree, before I knew it, I fell! but not completely, my dress got torn and I was stuck on the tree. After being laughed at the whole morning for hanging on a tree, I had to hide a torn dress from my parents the entire service! Even today, my sisters still laugh at me whe they think of that day! I was super embarrassed yooh!
After bagging 4 Penable Awards, Phoenix allowed me to judge the 12th of August Thursday Poetry Competition and I made it to “Penable’s Hall of Fame“. Thank you so much Phoenix for such an opportunity, you’re really humbling.
Lastly, I would like to thank my followers and visitors of my blog for the great and endless support. I have 472 followers now and I am really greatful and excited!
